Kimberly Ness, R.N., M.S., has worked at the Cancer Care Center at Fairview Southdale

Hospital since 1996. As an oncology clinical nurse specialist, she works daily with patients and families who are facing cancer. Ness plays a pivotal role in quality cancer care at Fairview Southdale. She champions clinical quality and best practice standards for oncology patients; anticipates patient and family needs during hospitalization and discharge; and advocates for patient partnerships with their health care team.

In addition to her role as a clinical nurse specialist, Ness is a member of the Community Clinical Oncology Program (CCOP) Institutional Review Board and is active in the Oncology Nursing Society – metro Minnesota chapter.
