Participant resource packet	The group discussed various materials that will be included in the resource packet for the course participants.  The list is as follows: ·        Presentation: What is cancer ·        Breast and cervical, colorectal and lung cancer presentations ·        Glossary of terms ·        Web links ·        Other resources	Andrea/Pat will pull slides together for the first session to review at the next meeting.  They will also check with Jane K. at MDH to see if there is a student worker/intern available to assist with compiling some of this.
Part 3 - Moderator and panel	Elizabeth A. has contacted Ann O'Fallon to be the moderator for the session.  She is both interested and available.  Other potential panelists to be contacted are: ·        Sisters in Harmony representative - Reona B. ·        Vietnamese Social Services rep - Andrea L-J. ·        Hospice MN - Pat R and Jean G ·        Deanna Finfrock, Fond du Lac - Pat R. ·        Social worker from HCMC - Anne W. ·        ACS Navigator in Willmar - Pat R.	Each person listed next to the potential panelist will report back at the next meeting.  Andrea will be sending the names and contact information for each speaker (session 2 speakers and session 3 panelists) to Jane Korn.
Financing and Publicity	The group looked over the scholarship application and the cover letter.  Suggestions were made to change some of the criteria and shorten the language of the letter.  The deadline for scholarships is stated on the application as March 20th.  Applications can be mailed, emailed, and faxed to Andrea (information provided).    Andrea and Pat will review applications on a rolling basis and set aside awards until the money is used up.	Andrea and Pat will create a final version of the application and cover letter.  This will be distributed electronically along with a PDF of the Summit brochure.   Andrea and Pat will also discuss the application and cover letter with Jane Korn
